REVOLUTIONIZING SKATEBOARDING
Fixing a 50-year-old problem
Since the first skateboard truck that originated in 1970, little has changed in the design. Sure, the trucks have gotten wider, more durable, and lighter. However, the overall shape has remained nearly the same since the beginning. I know the saying "don't reinvent the wheel" can be applied here, but there are areas where the design needs to be updated to better align with modern skateboarding.
Elephant Trucks are redefining what it means to "grind" on a skateboard...
Introducing the "W" shaped axle
The axle is the area you grind on a skateboard truck, where it makes contact with the edge of another surface. Previous designs have always been flat, requiring exceptional balance for skaters to stay on the rail without falling.
"We don't aim to make skateboarding any less difficult, but our design will make balancing on a rail slightly more comfortable."
This will allow skaters to push the sport further, by being able to grind longer and with less injury.
